ABOUT US

IR Results is the culmination of a long and and successful career in industrial relations and human resources.  With more than 30 years experience working for a number of major unions, being a Senior Human Resources Manager and having worked as an Industrial Relations Consultant advising and assisting employers, IR Results is well placed and resourced to assist you with IR and HR stategy and resolving issues as they arise.

 

The approach is to develop our clients understanding and equip them to deal with various issues such as enterprise bargaining, disputes, unfair dismissals, bullying complaints, payroll audits and development of IR/HR policies. .

To have a successful HR strategy and great culture, it is important to ensure that all the industrial relations principles underpinning great HR are applied.  Our vision is to ensure that all the IR principles of compliance with legislation are met in any given circumstance.  It might be dealing with enterprise bargaining negotiations and navigating clients through the requirements of bargaining, as well as assisting with  negotiations and ultimately, the lodgement of the agreement.

 

Other IR principles frequently not applied properly relate to the management of employees and the requirements to ensure that when an issue arises with an employee that the employer follows procedural fairness and has a valid reason for any decision made.  Failure to correctly apply IR principles can have a serious impact on an employer if a claim for unfair dismissal, discrimination, bullying, harrassment or the like is successful before an industrial tribunal.  IR Results ensures its clients do not fall into these traps.
